The Consortium members (listed below) invite applications in all disciplines of the liberal arts and engineering for Scholar-in-Residence appointments.
Applicants should be working toward the Ph.D. or the M.F.A. degree, or should have been awarded the degree no more than five years before application. Applicants must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are committed to and willing to contribute to enhancing the diversity of our colleges and their faculties, and should have no more than five years of teaching or relevant experience before holding a fellowship.
Scholars will receive compensation equivalent to that for beginning instructors or assistant professors with similar credentials. Scholars will be expected to do research and teach the equivalent of one or two semester-long courses and to participate in other activities at the host institution. Mentoring of teaching and scholarship will be provided.
Applications are shared with all Consortium members; appointments are made by the member institutions according to local policies and procedures.
