The Florida Climate Institute at University of Florida Faculty Fellow program recognizes
University of Florida (UF) faculty for outstanding research, extension, and education
programs that significantly advance UF’s interdisciplinary climate-related communities of
science. Faculty at the assistant professor rank, including equivalent non-tenure-track
faculty, are eligible for the Early Career Climate Institute Faculty Fellowship. Faculty at
the associate or full professor rank, including equivalent non-tenure-track faculty, are
eligible for the Distinguished Climate Institute Faculty Fellowship.
Deadline: 31 May
Eligible fields: Candidates must be a Florida Climate Institute Affiliate Faculty member. Selection criteria include a) evidence of a strong interdisciplinary climate-related research, education and/or extension program, with an emphasis on the past three years; b) research, education and extension priorities aligned with the mission of the FCI; and c) the faculty member’s commitment to contribute to FCI initiatives during their 3-years as a Faculty Fellow.
